Veganism is growing, but is it a fad or a way of life? November is World Vegan month so here are some of my favourite vegan friendly brands.
A favourite of mine is organic, natural and vegan brand, Inika Organic. This Aussie brand is one of the most certified beauty brands in the industry and has an extensive range of products. It’s not often that you find a certified organic & vegan brand that is high performing, which is why Inika Organic is such a find. Check out the Certified Organic Liquid Foundation which contains a cocktail of vitamins and minerals to help brighten the skin whilst hyaluronic acid targets fine lines.
Concealer can be a tricky one to get right at the best of times, luckily the ever fabulous Kat Von D has come to our rescue with 21 shades of the the creamy and buildable Lock It concealer. This versatile product enables you to brighten under-eyes, cover blemishes, correct discolouration, neutralize redness, contour and highlight!
E.l.f Cosmetics have a good selection of lip goodies that are carmine free (an ingredient that is basically crushed insects). Carmine is pretty difficult to avoid in mainstream cosmetics , especially with red lipstick. Try e.l.f Cosmetics Day to Night Red Hot Reds duo a dual-ended lipstick which has a soft shade for day and a bolder shade for night. The velvety satin formula is enriched with Shea, and Vitamins A, C, and E to help nourish and hydrate.
B. Beauty is a brand that's exclusive to Superdrug , so pretty easy on the pocket. All their cosmetics are Cruelty Free and vegan. Their B.Pro Contour Brow Kit is easy to use and good value for money. The two brow shades allow you to shade in the brows whilst the wax sets them and the highlighter is used to perfect the shape and give a natural lift effect to the eye by applying under the arch. Use your own angled brow brush with the product for on fleek brows!
