This year iconic actress ,philanthropist and founder of the Hawn Foundation will be celebrating her 70th birthday! Hard to believe, as she sashayed her way down the red carpet at last nights Glamour Awards in London. She was there to support her daughter, actress Kate Hudson, receive an award for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Celebrity makeup artist, Armand Beasley tells us how he created this stunning look.
"I prepped Goldie's skin using Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm (£15.50), followed by Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum (£35.50) then SKN-RG Organics Cellular Repair Moisturiser (£45).
Illamasqua Matte Veil (£30) was then used to keep the tzone shine free for the evening ahead."
"As I was doing a slightly smokey look, I decided to do the eyes first so used Nars Smudge Proof Shadow base (£19.50) to help prevent any creasing of the shadow then I popped on a lightweight concealer followed by MAC Mineralize Shadow Quad in A Waft Of Grey (£33). Using the lighter shades at the inner corner followed by the darker tones at the outer edge coming inwards. Top tip: always press the shadow in, instead of brushing ,as this will help prevent 'fall down'.
Living Nature eye pencil in Midnight (£14.50) provided the soft yet dramatic smoulder to frame Goldie's iconic eyes.
Code Beautiful VLM mini mascara (£10) is the perfect handbag mascara for glamour on the go and I used this on top and bottom lashes. Sisley brow pencil in Blond (£33.50) is the perfect shade for Goldie so I softly filled in and shaped her brows. I then applied some custom cut natural Nouveau false lashes to finish the eyes."
"Using the combination of Clinique Sculpting Stick(£19) and Nars Pear Corrector(£19) I highlight and contoured Goldie's features followed by a very small amount of Sisley Phyto Teint Expert in Ivory (£79) to blend everything together."
"Sisley Lip Twist no3 (£29) provided a discreet pop of colour on her lips whilst Urban Decay Flushed (£22.50) trio palette provided a pink to the apples of the cheeks, a soft shimmery tone highlighted the top of the cheekbones and the darker matte shade sculpted the features."
"Finally, it was a quick spritz of the stunning new fragrance Eau De Orient by Sisley (edp from£114) to complete Goldie's show stopping look" Www.armandinternational.com
